Level 5 is designed for skilled swimmers ready to master their technique. The emphasis is on refining the nuances of each stroke to swim with greater efficiency, speed, and endurance. This class introduces advanced components like flip turns and shallow-angle dives, bridging the gap between basic swimming and competitive or fitness swimming. Safety skills are heightened with extended treading water and the introduction of sculling and rescue breathing.
Focus / Goals:

Refining all six primary strokes for maximum efficiency and power

Building significant endurance for continuous swimming

Introducing advanced techniques like flip turns and racing dives
Skills Mastered:
-
Swimming freestyle, backstroke, and elementary backstroke for 100 yards

Swimming breaststroke, butterfly, and sidestroke for 25 yards

Performing flip turns for front and backstroke

Executing shallow-angle dives from the side of the pool

Treading water for 4–5 minutes

Sculling for stability and propulsion

Demonstrating basic rescue breathing techniques
What to Bring: Swimsuit, towel, goggles, swim cap, and water bottle.
Class Size & Format: Small group (maximum 5 students). 45-minute instructor-led class.
Recommended Frequency: Once per week for technical mastery and endurance building.
Progression: Upon mastery, students advance to Level 6: Swimming and Skill Proficiency.
